Rare Disease Day 2026
Rare Disease Day 2026 is an annual global event held on the last day of February to raise awareness and promote understanding of rare diseases and the challenges faced by those living with them.
Around the world, patients, families, organizations, and healthcare professionals will come together through events, social media campaigns, and advocacy efforts to shine a light on the strength and resilience of the rare disease community.
In Canada, volunteers for the Canadian Association for Porphyria work tirelessly to light up landmarks around the country to ensure Canadians living with a rare disease know they are not alone.
